Francine L. Harper,

Ed.D, LMHC, BCBA

Dr. Francine Harper, Ed.D, LMHC,BCBA is the founder and current Clinical Director of Caring Hearts of the Treasure Coast. Dr. Harper is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.   Dr. Harper received her undergraduate degree from The Florida State University and has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Florida Atlantic University and a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University.  She completed her Doctoral Studies in Education at Nova Southeastern University with a dual Concentration of Human Service Administration and Special Education with a focus on Applied Behavior Analysis.  Dr. Harper credits being a mother of two as her most important educational experience.  She also credits being an Autism Mom as one of her many strengths as a BCBA as she understands the difficult path to an accurate diagnosis.

OUR TEAM

Edwin Harper is the Lead Registered Behavior Technician  at Caring Hearts of The Treasure Coast.  He graduated from Taft Community College and then entered the University of Kansas on a football scholarship.  Edwin’s college career ended early due to a Traumatic brain injury that left him in a coma for several months.  Edwin had to work hard at his rehabilitation and after he recovered he developed a passion for working with Adults and Children  with disabilities who received services through Florida’s Medicaid Waiver Program.  Edwin has certifications in Supported Employment, Respite, Personal Supports and Supported Living.  Edwin has worked many years in the public school system as a Behavioral Technician.  He has worked with students in the Autism unit and students in the EBD unit. Edwin is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services at Indian River State College majoring in Human Services.  Edwin has plans on completing the BCABA coursework upon graduation.  Edwin is the husband of Dr. Harper and the father of three sons.  He takes pride in being a help to others.  Edwin specializes in dealing with complex behavioral issues.
